The Van

Many updates have been made to the van since the original buildout, which is pictured here.  New photos coming soon!  Visit the Media page to see a video tour of the van.

2005 Mercedes/Dodge Sprinter 2500

The floor. I've been told it looks like a preschool but... it's easy to remove and clean, and the dogs aren't sliding back and forth in the van.  It possibly also keeps things quieter?
My brother machined this awesome mount for the solar panels.  We can have the panels flat or adjust them to any angle in either direction so we can get maximum benefit from the sun.
Laptop platform fold down from the wall so we can watch movies in bed without the blankets blocking our view.  This is actually a big deal.  Bookshelf above.
Room for knicknacks!  We keep our cooking and eating utensils in here as well as soap, and various other things that need a home.
Over the wheel-well cubbies.  This was a super awkward space so I built some little cubbies with hinged doors.  I stuff my jackets in here.
BED!  I love sleeping.  Lots of drawer space under so we can easily access our clothes and toiletries.  You have to go around to the back door to access the rest of the stuff under the bed (crashpads, etc.)
Purrrty, ain't it?
Swivel chair!  The front passenger seat is on a swively thing so it can turn around and face the back.  Nice for meals and van get togethers.  Note the shoe-holders everywhere stuffed with various things.  The thing about a rolling home is that your stuff always has to be secured or you end up with a mess.
A good view of most of the van
Titan taking a break.  We stuff jackets and blankets in the net above the bed.  Don't forget your fiddle people!
View from the countertop.
Makin' pizza!
Big enough for having friends over
